Philip Morgan's
"Sandy Series"
is a personal journey that Sandy and Philip Morgan experienced together as husband and wife.
Diagnosed with terminal cancer in her mid-twenties, Sandy Morgan battled for her life , but lost her battle at a very young age.
Sandy's spirit is still alive today through Philip Morgan's photographs of their journey together as she made the transition from this world to the next.
Sandy was Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Care Center's first patient in 1980, and her legacy also lives on through their commitment to honor her memory through community volunteer programs and internal training programs that continue to touch the lives of patients, family members, staff and the community each and every day.
